Community listening Service

Do you need to talk?

Often life can be a struggle and we carry things anxiously which detrimentally affect our health and well being. –Bereavement, relationship breakdown, stress at work, difficult diagnosis, adjusting to being less active and independent , caring for a loved one – these are just some of the things we may struggle with.

The GP often does not have long enough in the appointment system to listen to some of the issues we need to talk about, so once a week we are able to offer a Listening Service, where patients can spend up to 50 minutes with someone who is a skilled Listener , who will listen to whatever you need to bring.

There are two appointments available for booking each Friday afternoon , so if you would like to use this service you can make an appointment at reception for the Listening Service
